ONLINE SERVICES changed on 14/01/19 - We now have a new online service which offers you the flexibility to book and cancel Doctor appointments and order repeat prescriptions via the internet.  Please ask at reception for a registration form or download the form here
The previous My Surgery link within the repeat prescription page will
no longer be available as of Monday the 14th January 2019  and all medication requests after that date can  be made via the New Online Service or at the Muirhead Medical Centre Reception.

 

 

The link above is for our online service which allows you to order repeat medication via the internet. Registration forms are available to download 

here or you can collect a form from reception. Please complete the form and return it to the surgery. 

 

Online Prescription

New Users

If you would like to order your repeat prescriptions online it is a quick and easy process. 

Please complete the online services registration form available to download above or collect from our Reception desk.

Once we have accepted your registration request we will email you the information you require to complete the registration process online and create your patient account.(Please also check your junk folder for this email)

 Please allow 48 hours (two working days), excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed

 


Repeat Prescriptions

medication4If you are on regular medication you will be issued with a computer slip giving details of your drugs. When you require a repeat prescription please use the computer re-order form, tick the items required and leave it at reception. We are also happy to receive your request online, by post, fax, or by providing us with a written request.

To ensure accuracy and alleviate telephone congestion we regret that we are unable to accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.

Prescriptions will be ready for collection after two working days or they can be forwarded to a local chemist for collection after two working days. Details of the chemist collection systems are available from our receptionists.

If you cannot come to the surgery please send your request to the surgery enclosing a stamped addressed envelope if you wish the prescription to be returned to you.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, pharamacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION DURING YOUR CONSULTATION
